Jute is a natural fibre that comes from the Corchorus olitorius plant, which is part of the mallow family. Jute is the name of the fibre used to make burlap or hessian and is mainly derived from India, Bangladesh and South Asia.
Ethically handmade in Sri Lanka, it is biodegradable, environmentally friendly and 100% natural and can be composted.
Skin Brushing: Skin brushing helps to naturally exfoliate by gently removing skin cells. It increases circulation and helps with detoxification by stimulating the lymphatic system and it can have a soothing effect and promotes smooth skin.
Feel: This is a soft bristle brush, for a gentle, light exfoliating action which is gentle enough for use on the face.
Use: Dry or Wet
Care: Wash regularly and dry in the sun e.g. on the washing line. Ensure brush has the opportunity to fully dry between uses. Do not leave damp or for long periods in water.
