Mwerre Soap & Skin is an Aboriginal-owned Australian soap and skincare brand creating handcrafted soaps, bath and body products for a uniquely Australian spa experience inspired by the colours, botanicals and stories of Country.

Founded in 2018, by Arrernte woman Liz Liddle, Mwerre combines traditional inspiration with modern artisan soap making to create products that support everyday wellbeing while contributing to a more meaningful and ethical future.

The word Mwerre comes from Arrernte language of Central Australia and translates to “good”, “well” or “beautiful”. This meaning reflects our belief that self-care should feel good, do good and create positive impact.

From the colours of the desert to the botanicals of the bush, every Mwerre product is inspired by Australia’s unique landscapes and the belief that everyday rituals can be both meaningful and memorable.

Handcrafted Australian Soap Made in Small Batches

Every Mwerre soap bar is handcrafted in Australia using the traditional cold process soap-making method.

This slow, artisan technique creates a rich, creamy lather while naturally retaining glycerin, a beneficial ingredient in handmade soap, that helps leave skin feeling clean, soft and nourished.

Our soaps are made in small batches to ensure quality and consistency, allowing us to create distinctive products inspired by Country.

Our soap bars feature hero ingredients such as Indigenous clays, ochre-inspired colours and native botanicals that reflect the natural beauty of the Australian bush, deserts, coastlines and waterways.
